RC PHASE SHIFT OSCILLATOR
The above
figure shows a RC PHASESHIFT OSCILLATOR . The phaseshift network consist of
three RC voltage dividers . At the operation frequency of each RC network
introduce a phase shift of 600 and the total by three RC is 1800
, anot6her 180 is produced at the input of the inverting amplifier(RC networks
connected to –ve terminal of amplifier so it is inverting). So the total phase
shift is 3600(condition for standard oscillation).
DESIGN
OSCILLATOR FREQUENCY F=1/2∏RC
= 1khz
Take C1=C2=C3=0.1µF
Then R1=R2=R3=
680Ω
Gain
RF/RI = 29
Take Ri = 1.2KΩ
Then RF = 34.8 KΩ
commonly we use 100k pot.
